The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 uses the same basic platform as the acclaimed Trident 660. It sets a new standard for the light-weight touring market. An excellent chassis, and a willing three cylinder motor make this a fantastic ride.
We have run Triumph Tigers at RoadTrip since we started, our customers love them. Once again Triumph have really come up with the goods with this fantastic package. Whilst based on the Trident, the bars are a little wider, the pegs a little lower and there is plenty of legroom.
The engine is an evolution of the excellent Daytona 675 unit but with longer gear ratios for touring. Whilst very user friendly, it is free-revving and there is plenty of power when you ask for it. A precise six speed gearbox is on hand with well spaced ratios that complement the motor.
Showa upside down forks and rear shock handle the suspension on the Tiger Sport 660. Nissin brakes (with ABS) provide good feel and plenty of stopping power.
The bike features an adjustable touring screen, and a comfortable seat. There are a couple of riding modes, heated grips and self cancelling, indicators. Finally a very smart and functional LED dash completes the package.
Everything about the Tiger Sport 660 is well balanced. The chassis, the engine, the suspension and brakes all work well together. The Tiger 660 is also equipped with a generous 17 litre fuel tank to give it excellent range for touring.
The RoadTrip Tiger Sport 660 is finished in Triumph’s familiar Korosi red. It is available with Givi luggage and a Tom Tom GPS Sat Nav unit as required
